Leicester XI: Schmeichel, Justin, Evans, Soyuncu, Chilwell, Ndidi, Praet, Tielemans, Perez, Barnes, Vardy

Chelsea XI: Caballero, James, Rudiger, Zouma, Emerson, Kante, Gilmour, Willian, Mount, Pulisic, Abraham

  • Leicester make four changes with Dennis Praet, Youri Tielemans, Ayoze Perez and Harvey Barnes starting
  • Chelsea make six changes as Cesar Azplicueta, Andreas Christensen, Ross Barkley, Marcos Alonso, Olivier Giroud and Kepa drop out

33: Save! Mason Mount slides it through to Christian Pulisic, who darts inside and absolutely thumps it at Kasper Schmeichel. Either side and it’s 1-0 but the Denmark international tips it over the crossbar. Harvey Barnes goes down the other end and blasts it high, high into orbit.

30: How many more chances are Leicester going to have?! Defender Jonny Evans gets goal side to meet Ben Chilwell’s free-kick but doesn’t connect with any conviction and guides the ball miles wide of the target. Terrible marking, terrible finish.

28: Nice period of possession for the Blues. Pinging passes from left to right trying to find their rhythm. Soyuncu ushers Mount out of play when Willian tries to thread him through.

25: Booked! Mike Dean, still with a beard, shows Caglar Soyuncu a yellow card for a blatant trip on Christian Pulisic. That caution means he will miss the semi-final should Leicester advance today. Time for the first of two drinks breaks.

23: And again! Honestly how Chelsea aren’t trailing is beyond me. Emerson is the culprit on this occasion, passing it across his own goal. Jamie Vardy is bearing down on it but Kurt Zouma is there to hack it away.

20: Save! Young Billy Gilmour is having a nightmare in these early stages. That’s the second or third time he’s given the ball away in a dangerous position and he’s nearly punished. Youri Tielemans collects and thunders one low that’s heading in until Willy Caballero palms it away.

18: Just seen another replay of the Nidi chance I just mentioned and it really was a good opportunity. Nobody marking him.

16: Reece James slips in a tackle with Harvey Barnes and the hosts are awarded the free-kick. It’s whipped in and Wilfried Ndidi glances a header straight at Willy Caballero.

13: Anyone see the ‘leaked’ Chelsea jersey for next season? Not sure if it’s fake but it looked horrible. Big ‘3’ plastered over the front of it doesn’t help. Anyway, things are evening up a bit at the King Power as the visitors grow in confidence.

10: Total domination from the Foxes inside this opening ten minutes but despite two or three good chances – it remains goalless. I’m getting the faint whiff of extra time from this game. Don’t ask me why. Just a feeling.

8: OK, Chelsea have settled things down now. The Blues, dressed all in white, have slowed the pace down and held on to possession in midfield for a few minutes. Still not looking up to scratch with Frank Lampard urging his side to wake up from the sidelines.

5: Blimin’ heck. Chelsea are asleep. Billy Gilmour and a few others are giving the ball away for fun in the middle of the park and the latest sloppy pass sees Harvey Barnes cross into the penalty area, where Willy Caballero HAS to claw it away.

3: Pardon me… I failed to mention that the legendary Mike Dean is officiating today. I always like to mention that early should any confusing or bizarre decisions are made…

Leicester should arguably taken the lead inside the opening 30 seconds. Harvey Barnes and Jamie Vardy slice straight through the Chelsea defence but the winger takes a touch too many and Chelsea scrape it away. Excellent chance.

1: Afternoon all, my sincerest apologies for the interrupted start but we’re underway at the King Power. A combined 10 changes for these sides but you wouldn’t really have guessed it – look like good starting XI’s to me. Who will be joining Arsenal and Manchester United in tonight’s FA Cup semi-final draw? We’re about to find out.
